Ruby offered to do the washing up
Yes, that’s right: Ruby actually offered to do the washing up tonight. Of her own free will!
I think that deserves a post all of its own.

We love reading the blogs and the amazing cultural experience you are having.
Everything is tickadee boo here. Shaz finished work 2 weeks ago. Baby is due on the 8th June. Feeling nervous, excited and overwhelmed.
Bruces won the grand final. We are 5 games into the new league and are unbeaten!
Anyways. Take care of yourselves.

Ok, she offered, but did she DO the dishes? And furthermore; if they were done, were they done to the required standard? (Not that one would chastise a ‘young person’ for doing a substandard job having at last offered to do such a task…can’t look a gift-horse in the mouth (whatever a gift-horse is… ) you know that phrase seems really strange all of a sudden… have I got it wrong?…Maybe I should have used ‘beggers can’t be choosers’ or ‘count your blessings’ or some other old chestnut))

Is there a hidden agenda? Is she trying to score brownie points? Is there an outrageous request lurking around the corner?
